LiveCargo benefits from an experienced and involved board of directors who provide insight regarding marketing, sales, product development and operations. LiveCargo is grateful for their time and effort in helping us build a strong and successful company.

R. Ken Bowden, Director, President,

Mr. Bowden joined LiveCargo in 2005.  He has over 28 years of sales, marketing and management experience, including computer software and hardware sales. Prior to LiveCargo, he held several management positions with DLP, Inc., before and after its acquisition by Medtronic. He also founded Bowden Properties, LLC, and founded and served as Managing Partner of Redco, LLC and has also been involved as a partner in Tumblebees Ultimate Gym, LLC.  Mr. Bowden received his degree in Business Administration from Elon College.

Steven T. (Terry) Clontz

President and CEO


Steven T. (Terry) Clontz is a veteran in the telecoms industry with over 33 years of extensive experience. He began his career in the United States, and has worked internationally for the past 18 years. He moved to Singapore in January 1999 to head the joint venture start-up company, StarHub.

Although it started operations only in April 2000, StarHub is currently the second largest telecommunications company in Singapore. It is the only company offering the full suite of Information, Communications, and Entertainment services over a combination of Fixed, Mobile, Internet and Cable TV networks. Today, StarHub's annual turnover exceeds SGD1.5 billion.

With a degree in Physics from the University of North Carolina - Greensboro, Terry began his career as an engineer with Southern Bell in 1973. He joined BellSouth International in 1987. During his eight years there, he held senior executive positions, serving the last three years as President-Asia/Pacific Region responsible for Bellsouth's corporate development and operations in the region. From 1995 through 1998, Terry served as CEO and President of IPC Information Systems Inc., based in New York City.

Alan Neely

Alan Neely brings specific experience in marketing, product design and intellectual property to the LiveCargo Board. His prior experience includes various officer positions, such as President of US Business Unit and Chief Marketing Officer, at BCE Emergis (now Emergis, Inc), a Canadian-based electronic commerce provider. BCE Emergis acquired InvoiceLink Corporation in 2000, a venture-based company that Mr. Neely founded and led as President and CEO. Mr. Neely is the author of many patents and patent applications. Before InvoiceLink, Mr. Neely gained significant technology experience with start-ups in the financial services and telecommunications industries and with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture).

Rick A. Reddel - Co founder of LiveCargo

Mr. Reddel has over 20 years experience in engineering, software development. Prior to starting LiveCargo with his partner, Mr. Reddel formed and operated Nuklias, Inc. - a premier developer of process and information management software, which was later acquired by Conviveon Corporation. He was also a co-founder of TextileWeb, Inc., the industry-specific marketplace serving the global textile industry which was acquired by VerticalNet (VERT) in 1999, where he then worked as VP of Product Development and VP of Operations through 2001. Mr. Reddel earned a BS in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Business Administration from Colorado State University.

W. Douglas Young, Chairman, CEO and Co-founder

Mr. Young together with his partner, founded LiveCargo in 2003. He has over 33 years of experience growing technology companies and leading them through successful exits, including seven start-up companies and 13 acquisitions. In 1995, Mr Young sold Image Technology, Inc. to MCI Telecommunications, Inc. and the company became the Internet division for ISP, Web hosting, e-commerce and portal development with Mr Young serving as MCI’s President for the division. In addition to Image Technology,  Mr. Young has considerable experience in the internet portal industry: he was the founder and CEO of GuardiaNet Systems, Inc. (GSI), an Internet access management technology company focused on public libraries and universities which was sold to 3M Corporation in April, 2003; and he was the founder and CEO of OnePlace, Ltd., an Internet portal, e-commerce and Internet broadcasting company acquired by Salem Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: SALM) in January 1999. Mr. Young has been twice nominated for Entrepreneur of the Year in North Carolina by Ernst & Young and was a finalist in 1996. Mr. Young received his degree in Physics from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro.
